I got ripped off! Jacob Brannon did the actual work. He is one of Echols employees (for now). Young kid. Extremely happy with him. Would like to continue hiring only Jacob for future work and would recommend Jacob. However, I fired the company Echols the first day. The company ripped me off for $500. Why? The rate was $60 an hour for a plumber which I was perfectly fine with. Jacob's work was awesome and he was to continue for another three days BUT, ....the company sent a "helper" with Jacob. This helper was nothing more than an unskilled $10hr day laboror (he told me this in Spanish) picked up off the street that hung around mearly observing Jacob and I work. At the end of the 10 hour day I was expecting a bill for $600 for Jacob, money for misc. materials, and maybe $100 for the laboror I never asked for. Echols company charged me $60 hr ($600) for the unskilled Guatamalan day laboror! This padded the bill by an additional $500 for non-skills and services never performed. Rip off! I will always share to every single person I pass in the construction business to NEVER use Echols Plumbing, and they haven't. Jacob where are you? You are welcome to work on our place anytime.
